Among many women hair removal is as common as washing ones face in the morning.
It is simply something that has to be done to be presentable in public and come to think of it more so in private. However this ritual does become tedious and depending on the method of hair removal you use can be quite messy not to mention painful. If you shave, wax or use depilatories on your own you have to set aside time daily as in the case of shaving or for waxing or depilatories schedule around an hour or more every other week or so of total private time to get this done. The sad part is this will continue for the rest of your life and needs to be done like clockwork. If your office has been requiring long hours and sleep deprived nights or you now have a family complete with children and a pet these few totally private hours one needs to invest in a month become quite precious. This is when ones thoughts move toward something it never thought to consider before which is how to remove hair permanently.
There are many ways to eliminate hair from the body however to remove hair permanently involves techniques that are quite radical and what others might feel as invasive. There are two ways in which to remove hair permanently and these are through the electrolysis method and the more recent addition of laser treatments. In the electrolysis method the follicles from where hairs grow are destroyed. This involves a procedure of placing a thin metal needle into each follicle to deliver an electrical current to kill the cells of the follicle hereby prevent further hair growth. The down side is the procedure is wearisome and quite uncomfortable. There have also been studies that the permanency of the procedure will depend on the phase in the life cycle the hair is in. If the follicle is sent the current of electricity at the right phase it will no longer produce hair but if it is not then it may still produce hair. Studies show that out of every hundred removed 30% return hence the need for touch ups. This means one will need to have this procedure more than once in order to address the 30% for the touch up. With Laser hair removal although some doctors are still cautious in generalizing since it is fairly new and not enough studies are available, most find that the hair does not grow back. However one pass of the laser will not be able to remove all hair, the ones that don’t die will have o be treated again. He benefit to this method is the hair follicles do not have to be treated one at a time. A group of hair can go through the process at the same time whereas electrolysis does it one at a time.
